Baton Rouge, La. – Baton Rouge General Physicians is opening a new OB/GYN clinic in Mid City, beginning March 1. Dr. Alicia Taylor’s clinic will be located inside the BRG Mid City medical office building, adding obstetrics and gynecology to the services available on the Mid City campus.

“I can’t wait to get started,” said Dr. Taylor. “With so many families in Mid City and North Baton Rouge, we have a great opportunity to help bring more services to the area, including reproductive health, pregnancy care, and treatment for endometriosis and osteoporosis.”

Dr. Taylor has delivered nearly 2,500 babies in her career since earning her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from LSU in New Orleans. She completed her OB/GYN residency training at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and specializes in comprehensive women's services, including prenatal, post-natal, birth control, family planning and menopause.
